    Binh Thuan Province is considered to be the driest region in the whole country with an average tropical temperature of 27ºC. 

 As in the rest of South Vietnam there are two distinct seasons: the rainy season from May to October with big winds, and the dry season from November to April. Binh Thuan's beauty is a graceful combination of rocky mountains and stretching sand dunes and beaches. The most beautiful part of the Province's 200km of coast line is the Bay of Mui Né. The fishing industry being the most important economy factor of the Province. The Cham minority constitutes the largest ethnic Vietnamese community still living in the Province.
